About Me!

There’s only one thing Alessandro Garbagna loves more than pizza… acting.
Born in Pavia, Italy, Alessandro is an actor whose passion for the stage began at an early age. During high school, he performed in several school productions and appeared in a promotional video for the world-renowned MSC Cruises.
While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Management at the prestigious Bocconi University in Milan, his love for performance only grew. He served as President of BLPSA (Bocconi Live Performance Student Association) for two consecutive years, during which he produced and starred in the musicals Grease and Mamma Mia!. His performance as Danny Zuko caught the attention of renowned Italian director Maurizio Colombi, who cast him in Gli Sposi Promessi Show as Azzeccagarbugli, Gervaso, and one of Don Rodrigo’s henchmen. During this time, he also studied musical theater part-time at MAS Academy in Milan.
These formative experiences led him to take a bold step and move to the United States. There, he studied Acting for the Camera at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and later earned a degree in Musical Theater from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in February 2025. At AMDA, he was selected for the AMDA Summer FEST and played Johnny in the original musical Loveville High.
After graduation, Alessandro continued his dance training at Broadway Dance Center, performed multiple times as a featured soloist at the Green Room 42 where he sang both in italian and english, co-produced and acted in the short film To the Universe by L.E. Woods, and made his Off-Broadway debut in the original play The Wrestle by Gershon Tarablus.
In addition to this, Alessandro speaks and acts in spanish too and has worked extensively as a model. His family owns a 200-year-old apparel Atelier, for which he has modeled. He has also collaborated with the CrossFit brand Ruster Fitness for social media content and worked on multiple creative projects with photographer Mary Chrizza Jane.
He is currently represented in Italy by the Giancarlo Caremoli agency and in the United States by Merci Talent. Alessandro is known for his versatility, playful energy, and emotional sensitivity—qualities that consistently shine through in the room.
